Greater Ridgecrest YMCA Paint & Clean-Up - July 2016 The Rotary Clubs of Largo and Indian Rocks Beach joined together to clean-up and paint the Greater Ridgecrest Branch of the YMCA. The Greater Ridgecrest YMCA offers youth sports, health programs, fitness classes, after-school programs and summer camps. Click here to see Photos of the YMCA Cleanup

Adopt A Mile The Adopt-a-Mile a program is cleanup program administered by Keep Pinellas Beautiful. Our Rotary Club cleans litter and debris along Gulf Blvd and pedestrian islands in Indian Rocks Beach on a quarterly basis.

Indian Rocks Family Sailing Association Volunteers Rotarians volunteer as leaders and sailing instructors at the Indian Rocks Family Sailing Association year-round and summer youth sailing programs and the Ted Irwin Sailathon. They offer quality and affordable program aimed at teaching the basics of small boat sailing with an intentional focus on the virtues of teamwork, compassion, patience and perseverance.

Holiday Meals We partner with the PCSO Community Policing Officers and the Beach Community Food Pantry to coordinate the purchase and distribution of Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to those less fortunate. Each family recieves a fully prepared holiday meal along with extras like bread, peanut butter, jelly, juice and holiday treats.

Holiday Programs and Special Events Throughout the year our club participates in a variety of special events and programs for worthy causes. Recent events include:

  • Tampa Bay Frogman Swim to Support the Navy Seal Foundation
  • Cross Florida Ride to End Polio

Fundraising Projects

Big Game Drawing Annual Big Game Drawing fundraiser is the sale of raffle tickets for the grand prize of tickets to the "Big Game" and a second and third cash prizes.

Art & Ale Art & Ale is a fun evening of Art, great food, beer and wine dedicated to raise money for education projects as well as the John J Todia III Scholarships for Art and Music students

Pancake Breakfast Annual Pancake Breakfast to benefit to benefit the Beach Community Food Pantry. The Beach Community Food Pantry began in 2004 and serves almost 800 registered families and individuals in Pinellas County.
